Alexa Squire, MS, LMFT, ACS (Owner & Founder of Positive Perspective Therapy, LLC)

Alexa has been working in the mental health field since 2010 after obtaining a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University with a dual major in Psychology & Women Studies. She then obtained a Master's of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Seton Hall University. Alexa became an approved clinical supervisor in 2017 as well. She holds a license to practice in the state of NJ; license number is: 37FI00176600.

Alexa is extremely passionate about working with clients. Alexa finds her career to be exciting and rewarding. Alexa believes that people are able to make positive and effective changes in their own lives. Sometimes it is essential to work through and process difficult times and make a shift in your perspective!

Alexa is enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, the outdoors, being a foodie and is a lover of dogs. Alexa believes that exercise is the best medicine, meditation can really change your brain and trying her best to live in the moment.


Andrew Anderson, MA, LAC

Andrew earned his BA from Fordham University in New York City and his graduate degree from William Paterson University where he received his Masters in Clinical Counseling & Psychology. He is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey.

Andrew has completed training for IFS Level 1 under the instruction of Kay Gardner and Kevin Davis. He has also received specialized training from the Child Mind Institute. Andrew has a keen appreciation and interest in the healing wonders the IFS model can achieve, and he aims to continue learning and sharing the model with those who might like it.

Andrew has years of experience both as a teacher and a clinician working with teenagers to help them meet their goals, learn healthy and effective inter- and intra-personal skills, and make progress on their journey toward growing peace and happiness. Andrew also values his clinical experience with adult populations, and he has an openness and curiosity to continue expanding his clinical reach and expertise.


Gabriella Fink, MA, LPC, NCC

Gabriella graduated from Centenary University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, as well as a dual certification in Elementary Education and Special Education. During her teaching career, Gabriella realized that her true passion was helping her students succeed beyond the classroom. Gabriella graduated from Montclair State University with a Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Gabriella is board certified through the National Board for Certified Counselors. She holds a license to practice in the state of New Jersey; license number is: 37PC00730900.

Gabriella enjoys working with children and adolescents to help them achieve their individual goals. Her unique perspective as a former educator and current counselor allows her to combine her skill sets during counseling sessions. Gabriella believes growth occurs through difficult times and sometimes we need the help of a therapist to guide us.

In Gabriella’s spare time, she appreciates spending time with her family, baking, and spending time with friends. Gabriella is always the first to strike up a conversation and make new connections.

Brianne Glogowski, LCSW

Brianne graduated from William Paterson University with a BA in Psychology and then earned her Master of Social Worker (MSW) from Montclair State University. Brianne has experience working in community mental health, providing individual, group and family therapy to help navigate life’s challenges. Brianne earned her LCSW in the state of New Jersey; license number is: 44SC06261900. Brianne is also trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Brianne believes that the therapeutic relationship is essential to the healing process, and works to create a supportive and trusting environment, where clients can openly express themselves, while working towards positive change and personal growth.

Outside of Brianne’s professional life, she enjoys exercise sessions at CycleBar, walks with her dog, and a good mystery novel. These hobbies provide Brianne with a sense of balance and fulfillment, which she believes enhances her ability to connect with her clients on their journey to their well-being.

Leah Turner, LCSW

Leah graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology. Leah continued her education at Ramapo, where she obtained her Master’s in Social Work. Leah is currently a License Social Worker (LSW), who holds a license to practice in the state of New Jersey; license number is: 44SL06617100.

Leah is currently a clinical therapist in a school setting. She has a background of working in Special Education, which sparked her passion of working with children and adolescents. She has a genuine, friendly approach when working with every individual. Leah believes no one should have to feel they are going through a difficult time alone. She is a true believer that “people need other people” and “everyone deserves a chance to tell their story”. Let her be that person for you!

When she is not working, Leah enjoys spending time with her family, catching up with her close friends, and being active. She believes it is important to surround yourself with people and participate in activities that make you feel fulfilled.

Brooke Elliott, MA, LAC

Brooke earned her BA in Psychology from William Paterson University before continuing her education at William Paterson to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. She is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey; license number is: 37AC0070900.

Brooke has a background working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings, such as nannying and mentoring middle and high school students. Her clinical experience consists of working in private practice as well as partial hospitalization programs with youths ages 5-17. She also has experience working with young adults and parents. Brooke has a passion for working with children and adolescents struggling to navigate life’s challenges. She believes in using an individualized approach in an open-minded environment to help others feel supported and reach their goals.

In Brooke’s spare time, she enjoys cooking, writing, video games, and spending time with family and friends. She loves to explore new places and try new things (especially new foods!).

Katelyn Farrell, LSW, LCADC

Katelyn graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s in Social Work with a minor in substance use disorders. Katelyn continued her education at Ramapo, where she obtained her Master’s in Social Work. Katelyn currently holds her LSW and LCADC; license number is: 44SL06670000.

Katelyn is passionate about helping people deal with various life challenges, including health issues and substance abuse. Katelyn sees adolescents, teenagers, and adults, and has experience working in various settings including hospitals and treatment centers. Katelyn creates a safe space where her clients feel heard and empowered.

In her spare time, Katelyn likes to spend time with her family and friends. Katelyn enjoys coloring as a way to relax after work.

Sophia Mercer, AMFT

Sophia graduated from CUNY Hunter College in 2012 with a BA in Film Studies. After an initial career in film/TV production in Los Angeles, she found a creative outlet through movement as a Pilates trainer. Working with her trainees on their physical wellness, mindfulness and breathwork, she discovered her true passion for caring for others and creating a warm, empathetic space for people to explire their internal world as well.

Sophia then completed her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy at Antioch University in 2022. She has experience providing individuals, couples, and family therapy in a variety of settings treating a wide range of clinical issues. She takes a collaborative, integrative approach to best fit each unique individual in the room. She holds an Associate License in MFT in New Jersey (#37FA00027500) and in New York (P115588).

Sophia offers a safe space to help her clients explore opportunities for change, growth and self-discovery. Through a mutual engagement in the therapy process, clients are supported in gaining insight about their relationships, their sense of who they are, and who they want to become. Sophia challenges her client’s negative or limiting perceptions, highlights their strengths and agency, and encourages them to feel compassion for themselves above all. She values the mutual trust, courage and vulnerability required in order to work together to achieve change through therapy.

Outside of work, Sophia enjoys motherhood, spending time with family and friends and her dog, travel, good TV shows, good food, meeting new people and trying new things. She still practices pilates and yoga regularly and believes physical exercise and a self-care routine is an integral part of achieving balance in one’s life and relationships.
